For a big international organisation in Leiden, we're looking for a Financial Accountant-Payroll Specialist. You will be contributing to the daily administration of the Dutch entities. Secondly, you will be contributing to the quality of the administration and the internal and external reporting. This vacancy is for 32 to 40 hours a week

As a Financial Accountant-Payroll Specialist your tasks and authorities will be as follows:

• Responsible for completeness, correctness and timeliness of the payroll process and financial payroll output including (internal) financial reports;
• Ensuring a good administrative organization with adequate segregation of duties;
• Assists with financial periodic close and reports to local and corporate management;
• Proactively responds to developments that affect administrative work and with regard to one’s own department.
• Reconciles and recommends resolution for report discrepancies and problems;
• Assists with invoicing, collection and cash positions;
• Identifies possibilities for improvements in working methods and procedures and contributes to the drafting of this on request.

• MBO +/ Bachelor working and thinking level.
• Knowledge of Exact Globe.
• Knowledge of the English language spoken and written.
• Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping
• Knowledge and experience in payroll processing.
• Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of automated data processing and file management.
• Knowledge of the application of relevant applications and automation packages.
• Over 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Available for 32 to 40 hours a week
